The present depot was built on the site of the old depot.  The concrete block box depot of 1958 vintage was built WEST of the crossing, relationship of which can be seen in one of my 1958 demo images. This relocation was to keep the crossing from being blocked at train-time.  When they built the present depot on the site of the old wooden structure, they extended the platforms way east, to keep from blocking the crossing. The station building that was constructed in 1987 for the electrification project is being replaced with a much larger station building. West view photos taken from the pedestrian overpass east of the station.
